Andre completed his BCOM Accounting at Stellenbosch university in 1993. He is a successful Financial Manager for a group of companies and a Treasurer for Homeowners Association and various Body Corporates.

Hannelie Jacobs

Hannelie spent most of her career in the financial services industry, working for Old Mutual, The Norwich Group and Woolworths Financial Services.

She has extensive experience in management, training and customer service. She is an accredited Seta skills facilitator and has extensive training experience in the Call Centre industry.

Andre Jacobs joined our team in October 2004. He was appointed as the Management Accountant for our 2 operations, namely Mail Order Management and International Direct Marketing Solutions. He reported to the Chief Financial Officer, Robert Brint.

Andre is very energetic and task orientated. He takes great care in projects and ensures that all
aspects of the projects is suitably accomplished. I have worked with him for the 7-8 years and have
enjoyed every minute of it. When Robert Brint left us in 2008, Andre took over the position of CFO
and he has produced everything expected from him.

His attention to detail sets him apart from other Managers and we rely heavily on his input for financial
analysis and statutory compliance in all areas of our operations.

Andre Jacobs has been the treasurer at the Avignon HOA since 2018 as the treasurer he has been the custodian of the funds, securities, and financial records of the association.

His primary duties have included:

· Reviewing financial records for accuracy

· Overseeing billing and collections

· Ensuring timely payment of invoices

· Making necessary investments of the association’s funds

Andre has assisted the committee in preparing the annual budget, as the treasurer he has been willing and able to fulfil this crucial task with expert thoroughness.

In preparing the budget, the treasurer must:

All contracts have been reviewed to ensure they are being fulfilled, the pricing is correct, and the services are still required.

He has contacted all utilities to find out if prices are expected to increase and assisted in the calculation of these into the working budget.

He reviews the income statement, the balance sheet, and the comparative budget for the current fiscal year to evaluate the association's current financial position. His advice to the committee is always on time and assists the committee in their determination regarding shortages and excesses and make necessary adjustments.

He always ensures that the association’s reserves are properly funded so money is available in case a reserve component requires maintenance.
